Account Manager / Business Development Professional - Water Wastewater Global organisation offering a clear career path Diverse and varied national client base - Syd role, national projects Work within an established team with blue chip clients In this Business Development and Sales Management position the successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work closely with the industry’s leading Blue Chip organisations that utilise water and wastewater services and technologies. Our client specialises in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services that provide and maintain clean water, energy and sustainable environments This is a leadership and management role with a strong element being Major Account Management, Service management and strategic business development. This opportunity should be looked on as real a career move, that will offer an enormous amount of scope of professional development and progression

Key duties of this position will include key management of several major accounts, as well as the development of new relationships both regionally within NSW and Nationally. This role has been ear marked to develop into a National BDM role that will offer a high earning potential and the scope to develop

Some key skills that our client is looking for in successful candidates are:

A minimum of five years sales and business development experience, with some exposure in directly managing a team. Experience in account & new business management experience will be highly thought of, alongside a track record of dealing with a large number of prospects and proposals at any one time. Technical Engineering experience in water systems and wastewater treatment will be beneficial, as well as strong presentation and communication skills

This is an opportunity to work with a global organisation that has firmly established itself in the Australian market. You will be working with an established management team, that will provide a platform for this role to develop from a regional to a national position supplying to a wide range of clients in varied industries. The remuneration package will be commensurate with experience and the pre-existing networks the successful candidate has, however it will be generous - our client is known for paying above market rates to reward its high achieving team. The package will be made of base, super, car and a bonus structure
