An exciting future lies ahead with range expansion and marketing activities in untapped markets.
The division specialises in custom plastic injection and rubber compression and extruded products to niche markets. The business prides itself on providing technical expertise for client needs. This role is really about providing a service to client requirements. This recently formed national role offers the prospect of developing your own sales team.
Role responsibilities include:
Participating in marketing events such as trade shows and expos etc. Contribute in sales and marketing plan development Build strong relationship with new and existing clients Maintain a regular call cycle to potential and existing customers Preparation of sales quotations Reporting activity through CRM software
This is an opportunity for you if you have a flair for identifying customer needs and sales opportunities, thrive on new challenges, are process driven and have confidence to work outside the office.
You will require:
Ability to confidently develop a new customer base in an external sales role Motivation to achieve agreed sales targets Willingness to work a flexible schedule and very occasional overnight travel An ability to develop a basic product technical understanding. Training provided. Computer literacy in Microsoft A current NSW driving license and suitable vehicle (generous allowance paid)
You will need sales experience and a technical aptitude. It is desirable, not necessary, if you have some experience in equipment, rubber or plastic products. Technical sales expertise will be highly regarded particularly to the mining and resource, construction and automotive associated industries.
